Honey and Garlic Chicken Thighs (Slow Cooker)

Honey and Garlic Chicken

I found this recipe from allrecipes.com. Apparently I’m the last one that hasn’t heard of this recipe before because once I found it, now it’s everywhere!  Just like when you get a new car, you never notice it until you get one, and then you see the same model everywhere 🙂

I love teriyaki chicken and decided to give this recipe a try.  I had to add pineapples in, because it just seemed like the right thing to do.  I love my slow cooker and love to try out new recipes for it.  An added bonus is easy clean up!!

I served it over rice for me to make it gluten free (Make sure the soy sauce is GF), but my crew ate it on little Hawaiian buns with Havarti cheese.

Next time I will add more garlic since I really couldn’t taste it, but I love garlic. This wasn’t very teriyakiish, if that’s even a word, I will dig out my most loved recipe for chicken teriyaki and fix that soon.  But it was still good nonetheless!

Isn’t it odd how the pineapples look like carrots in the picture?  The weird things I sit around and think of….
