Welcome to the Bake with Fresh Milled Flour Challenge! We’ll call it the Bake with FMF Challenge for short.
It’s a fun way for us to bake together, try new freshly milled flour recipes, and share what we make!

Each month starts with a vote in my Fresh Milled Flour Happiness Facebook group. You help choose the recipe,
and once the votes are counted, we all bake the winning recipe together.

There’s no competition and no pressure to make yours look perfect. Just grab your wheat berries, mill some flour,
and bake along with us!

How Does the Bake With FMF Challenge Work?

It’s simple!

You can join every challenge or just jump in whenever you see a recipe you want to make.

October 2026 Bake With FMF Challenge

Our very first Bake With FMF Challenge is officially here!
For our first challenge, I gave the group 3 pumpkin recipes to choose from: Pumpkin Cinnamon Rolls, Pumpkin Muffins, or Pumpkin Cupcakes.

And the winner is… Pumpkin Muffins!

Pumpkin Muffins won with 51% of the vote, so that’s what we’re baking this month!

Bake them with us this month, then come back to the Fresh Milled Flour Happiness group and show us how yours turned out!

Don’t forget to use #BakewithFMFchallenge when you share your picture so we can find all of our challenge bakes in one place.

Who Can Join?

Anyone that bakes with freshly milled flour!
You don’t have to be an experienced baker, and you definitely don’t need a picture perfect bake. If you’re brand new to milling your own flour, you’re welcome too!

Part of the fun is seeing everyone’s bakes, talking about what worked, helping each other when something didn’t, and learning more about baking with freshly milled flour along the way.

This is our very first one! 🎉
As we complete each challenge, I’ll add it here so you can go back and bake any that you missed.
