You’ll need the following ingredients to make this pizza n pasta:

  • Rotini pasta (or penne pasta if you prefer)
  • Pizza sauce
  • Marinara sauce (or spaghetti sauce)
  • Heavy cream
  • Garlic powder
  • Italian seasoning
  • Onion powder
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • Shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
  • Slices of pepperoni (or mini pepperoni)

  • Pasta Shape: Rotini works perfectly because the spirals hold onto the sauce, but penne pasta or even whole wheat pasta work too.

How to make pizza bake bake step-by-step:

Step 1: Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease a 9×13 inch casserole dish with nonstick spray.

Step 2: Cook pasta al dente according to package directions; drain.

Step 3: In a large bowl, mix pizza sauce, marinara sauce, heavy cream, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, onion powder, salt, and pepper until smooth. Give it a good stir to combine everything.

Step 4: Add cooked pasta and 1 cup mozzarella cheese to create the pasta mixture. Toss to combine.

Step 5: Transfer to prepared baking dish. Top with remaining 1 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese, then arrange pepperoni slices on top in a single layer of pepperoni.

Step 6: Cover with aluminum foil and bake 20 minutes. Remove foil and bake 8 to 10 minutes more until the cheese melts and is bubbly and golden.
