STEP 1: Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a 24-cup mini muffin pan or line with paper liners.

STEP 2: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the butter and semisweet chocolate chips. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each interval, until the mixture is smooth and fully melted.

STEP 3: In a large bowl, whisk together the melted chocolate mixture and granulated sugar until combined. Add the eggs one at a time, whisking well after each. Stir in the vanilla extract.

STEP 4: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.

STEP 5: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring just until combined. Be careful not to overmix.

STEP 6: Using a small cookie scoop or tablespoon, drop the batter into the prepared mini muffin cups, filling each about 2/3 full.

STEP 7: Bake for 11-14 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a brownie bite comes out with a few moist crumbs.

STEP 8:  Let the brownie bites cool in the pan for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

  • Peanut Butter Swirl: Drop small dollops of peanut butter into the batter before baking and swirl it with a toothpick for a delicious peanut butter and chocolate combo. So yum!
  • Nuts: Add 1/4 cup of chopped walnuts or pecans to give your brownie bites a little crunch.

FAQs about these Miniature Brownie Bites:

Yes! Dark chocolate will give the brownie bites a richer, more intense flavor.

A toothpick inserted into the center should come out with a few moist crumbs—this ensures they stay fudgy in the middle.

You can reduce the baking time slightly for a more fudgy texture or add a little extra melted chocolate.
