Step 2: In a mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Use an electric mixer for ease.

Step 3: Add the eggs one at a time, then mix in the banana mixture, which includes mashed overripe bananas, vanilla extract, and buttermilk, until smooth.
